Currently i am drawing a building from a existing Topographical Survey footprint. When i snap to the points of the building all appears ok, however, when i then view in a isometric view the walls drawn are at Level 0. As anyone tried to trace over existing detail, and is there a way of solving this. I basically wish to snap to the footprint of the existing building..

I'm new to revit but it sounds as through you levels need to be adjusted to suit the level of the topo survey as revit walls will only be drawn on a revit level unless you specify an offset. Determine the topo level relative to the revit level 0 and set up and a new level at this topo level. Hope that makes sense, let me know if that works.

Just seen your reply. Sorry its been a couple of months, but, thank you for the kind feedback. I think you are totally correct. Ive managed to resolve the issues i mentioned, and have produced a full BIM model from a pointcloud. I suspect this is why i havent looked at my posted questions. Been a bit sidetracked doing this..
